Games similar to Scrabble

Hi,
I am not sure which forum would be best to post this in (iPad or iPhone) but I really like the idea of Scrabble where your iPhone can be the controller and the iPad be the actual game board.
I did some searching but did not find this in any other games and I am wondering if anyone knows of any other games (esp board games) that do something similar?

May not be exactly what you're looking for, but you'd probably like Words with Friends if you don't already have it.

Why not just play the game on the iPad? Why would you need/want to control it from the phone?

Does the iPad version hide each player's letters from the others? I'm not sure how it could...

You each need your own phone or iPad. You could share, but you'd have to log out in between moves. Since he has an iPad and an iPhone, both players could have their own. I just don't see a benefit in remotely controlling the iPad to play scrabble when you could just control it on the iPad itself.
