Hey everyone, I need help on something. I'm getting an iPhone in the coming weeks, and I'm a gamer that is gonna sacrifice a Wii ridding of 250-280, and a crappy 4 year old laptop for hopefully ridding of 400. I don't work yet, and I cant because I watch my nephew full time until January. So please help me decide. I mean I have a desktop at home but thats not an issue for selling the laptop. I got a Wii, I play a few games for nintendo systems and never go back to them later on.. Basically the main question is if i'm sacrificing too much just for a phone?

If you don't have a job, I would hate to see you get the phone, damage it, and have to pay for any repairs. It is a very worthu, BUT, very costly thing to have to considering you don't have a stable income. I know you want one badly, but seriously, I would wait 'til you get a job. Just friendly advice.
Good luck.

Get it...but wait if you can

The iPhone is awsome, but if you can, I would recommend waiting until they update the operating system (or IF they update the operating system).

If you mainly want it for surfing the internet, then go for it! It has the best browser out of any smartphone out there. If you need it for productivity, like MS Documents, stuff like that, wait until it has better support (if it is ver updated).

Bottom line: If you get it, it will be the most FUN thing you have ever bought...maybe not the most productive tool, but definitely the most FUN toy :)

And I forgot to post back here when I got it! I got it like 3 days ago, hacked it to get into the menu and use Wi-Fi, its really awesome so far! Can't wait to activate it now!
