GMail Exchange and iPhone\iPad - Bin\Trash

Morning all -

If you're using GMail Exchange on your iPhone or iPad, what's the BEST way to truly delete an email from said device and have it move to the Bin\Trash in GMail? Hence when I log into my GMail account online, the emails are actually in the Bin\Trash?

I think this issue and having ads online when viewing GMail email is what I hate the most...

Hi Ivan,

Not sure what method (Google Sync or straight email) you are using to actually view your email but there is an option if you choose GMAIL during setup to disable "Archive Messages".

I just remembered, I have a nuevasync account. This was one of the reasons I bought it in the first place. I've now setup my GMail via Exchange, using my nuevasync, and delete works as it should...
