Gmail vs. Yahoo email?

What is the differnece b/w the Yahoo and Gmail service if any? What would you recommend for push email? What are the pros and cons?

Please Help as I am trying to figure out what would be the best service with least complications! Does gmail have a calendar?

I HATE yahoo mail. Their spam filters are horrid.

I use gmail solely because of the spam issue.

Is gmail free? Does it have calendar options? Is it push email or does it retrieve email every 15 minutes?

gmail has calendar options, but you can not access them via the iPhone.

It retrieves them every 15 minutes. (this is an iPhone issue, not a gmail issue)
