Great battery life you say?

See attached picture. If you EVER use your ipod, plan on cutting the "8 hour battery life" in half. I'm at 15% battery life with 5 hours of usage. Get real.

How long were you on calls?
My longest call was probably 4 minutes, maybe.

I'm waiting for all the people with the 9890 hour battery life to claim that "it's just my iPhone" and theirs has a 4 thousand year battery life.

As a movie player, iPhone, ipod and internet all in one, it's almost completely useless. You'd be lucky to have a 3 hour battery life doing all of those things. I have a 400 dollar offer on mine I'm seriously considering at this point.

So it's wrong to complain when you get half the battery life that Apple claimed?

What test have you done exactly to prove that Apple's claims are wrong?

I'm more than satisfied with battery life, and yeah, I DO listen to music with it.

you had 14 days to return it.

try lowering the brightness, u don't need it all the way up. turn off wifi when youre not using it.. be a little proactive instead of complaining on the forums where no one cares

im more than pleased with the battery life. first off even when people say they have bad battery life, its still really close to the battery life advertised for most smartphones/pda's. and don't forget it has to power that huge, glorious screen, most smartphones' screens are half that size or less.

What does that have to do with anything? I'm comparing it to what Apple claimed.

I watch a minimum of 3.5 hours of video a day and listen to at least 4 hours of music a day and when I get home I'm at 50% battery life. If I just leave it on phone mode and never listen to music or watch video, I get almost 3 days of talk and standby time.

I have no complaints.

Hell, I come from using a Q that had maybe 3-4 hours of talk/internet/SMS time per day (before needing a charge) to using my iPhone that can go 2 days doing the same, if not more, and not need a charge.

LMAO. That's even worse. If I would have been talking non-stop on the phone I would have been lucky to get 3 hours of battery life. I only played about 5 full songs on the ipod-so it looks like you're the idiot.
Stop talking out of your ass. If your iPhone really had enough charge to play "about 5 full songs" you wouldn't be here whining like a little cry baby but exchanging/returning your iPhone.

Umm, something is obviously wrong with your iPhone. I've listened to music for at least 13 hours and I had 35% left...
