It's doubtful that the iPhone 6 would come out that soon. Next fall will be much more likely.

A year is just right for a refresh. I would be annoyed if I bought the iPhone 5 and the in 6 months they bring the iPhone 6/ 5GS out. Yes I called it the 5GS. Or the 5G. With 5G connection speeds

have to agree with this they moved the iPhone to fall as to not have an AT&T release in July and a fall release for vzw like last year now one late sept early oct launch for all carriers

The Verizon iPhone came out in February, but I think a lot Verizon iPhone 4 owners would have felt that June was too soon for a new model. Plus Apple will be able to have the iPod Touch and iPhone come out at the same time now. The iPod Touch has always been released in the the fall.

Me too. What I think people tend to forget is that AT&T is rolling out their LTE service, but slowly. It's active here in Atlanta, but I don't believe that there is any "official" device taking advantage of it right now. Maybe data cards, but I don't think there is a phone for it yet.
My point is that a "multi-carrier" phone should be a given at this point- even if it has LTE. Speculation that the phone will be available on sprint and T-mobile give a little more validity to a multi-carrier phone as well.
