Hard Reset?

Wow. That's pretty crazy. I wonder how it could do that, and if it were the app, wouldn't it be more widespread?

If I hold the lock key and home button for ten seconds will I lose any data? I believe this is called a hard reset or a respring maybe ?

You will not lose any data doing a hard reset. Hold both buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Thats called a soft reset isn't it? A hard reset is a restore, IIRC and that will loose data!

This is a hard reset. Hard reset and restore are different.

Just make sure you sync the iPhone ever so often, so there's a backup.

This is a hard reset, and a soft reset is shutting down the phone normally and then turning it back on.
