Restore your iPhone. I spoke with a manager at the Apple store and he said that this fixes 75% to 80% of battery related issues. I did it myself and it worked great.
For those who are worried about restoring their iPhone and losing everything, don't worry about it all. iTunes backs up everything first and then puts it all right back on, even all of your text messages, recent calls, and all settings. The only thing you'll have to do is put all your passwords back in (Voicemail, Email, and Wireless WEP).
Make sure, however, that you copy your Camera Roll to your hard drive first as this is NOT backed up for some reason.
