Hi guys I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 3gs which was already updated to 4.3.5 when I got it, so I had to use redsn0w which seemed to work, however firstly I cannot open some Apple software such as, app store, settings and iTunes, however I can open everything else, and I can also open Cydia. Therefore I tried to restore the iPhone so that I could use everything again.

However in iTunes my iPhone does not appear or anything, when i plug it in its like nothing happens. However the sound still comes when I plug it in, and so does the iPhone autoplay. The phone is also fully recognized in Tiny Umbrella, its just iTunes that cant pick it up. So what can I do at this point? Is there a way of restoring the iPhone?

Thanks

Your phone doesn't sound bricked. Put your device into DFU Mode, connect to iTunes and it should be readable and restorable.
