This has to be a joke. You lose something and you post on a forum with the town you lost it in?Lost my iPhone in Auburn, Alabama... has anyone found one?
You still have a $600 phone...and a $600 lesson in keeping a tight hold on your stuffHave had cell phones since they were 5 lbs bricks..... never ever even came close to loosing one. A few weeks ago mine disappeared, I lost it but tell myself someone stole it. Called A.T.&T. reported it and have not found it yet. What did I do? went and bought another.... now I have a $1200.00 cell phone.

The entire reason why http://ifoundyouriPhone.com exists is to help you with this very problem. You should sign up ASAP. Had you signed up prior to losing it, your wallpaper would have all the information required for the finder to return your iPhone to you. However, you can still register and hope that whoever finds it will go to the website and enter the serial number. Of course, nothing guarantees the finder will return it but its a great idea, the service is FREE, and its only takes a minute to register. Do it!Help - I woke up with a hangover and an empty pocket!

Actually Apple has a complete tracking system in place through AT&T & iTunes. If your phone has been activated and it is returned to AT&T or an Apple store, they can get it back to you.Apple doesn't have any tracking system in place.
