This is awesome! I never would have said to wait a few days to see if someone turned it in until I lost my wallet recently and got a call from the police two weeks later that it had been turned in by a good samaritan....with everything left in it. :)

Congratulations! I hope the meeting went well and that you've been reunited with your iPhone :D

If all went well, post it up from your iPhone on your way home....not while driving, of course.

alright so I went and met the girl who found my phone she was awesome she returned my iPhone to me its still in perfect condition I'm so happy! I tried to give her 100 dollars for being such a great person and doing this but she would not accept it. She said she had lost her phone about a week ago and someone returned hers as well. I'm so glad there are still people out there who are like this. I know that if I ever find anything ima do anything to get it back to the owner because of this. Wow I still can't believe this I'm finally reunited with my baby LOL

Awesome! I never would have thought for a minute you'd get your phone back. I guess you could call me jaded. My faith is somewhat restored by your story! It's like a Christmas Miracle :)
Thanks for the lift,
Colleen

Wow! Good for you! Now take better care of that baby :)

Donate that $100 to the Salvation Army or pull a name off of an Angel Tree! Pay it forward!

Great story and great girl! Bless her heart for not accepting the reward.

You definitely gotta pay this one forward.... as well as anyone else who reads this. Apparently, there's hope for humanity after all...

Sounds like a "Pay it forward" situation. Very happy to hear that you got it back. restores my faith that most people are inherantly good.
My wife lost her phone in a resturant over the summer, and being a filmaker, all of her contact info is in her phone. 4 hours later, we found it, still in the booth where we originally ate, and the people there had it and happily gave it back. tried to buy them dessert or a round of drinks, but they wouldn't accept it. Viva la Honesty!

Glad you got it back Chris; there are still some great people left in the world! Just one question though- how come you just didn't call the cab comp. when you realized it was left in the cab?

thats awesome that you were able to get your phone back

i pray to god someone has a kind enough heart to return my iPhone that i lost last night (got a lil tipsy in the club and by nights end phone was gone)

but i couldnt even manage an entire day without a phone, so i just bought another iPhone (maybe its just me but my new iPhone speaker sounds considerably louder than the speaker of my i-day iphone--- maybe its wishful thinking or ears playing a trick on me)

stolen iPhone lawsuit

Help - I woke up with a hangover and an empty pocket!

I lost my iPhone at UMASS somewhere between southwest and frat row... what is the best way to get it back?

I'll check back later!
HI, i have recently had my iPhone stolen. I thought for sure since the phone has gps i would call Apple and they could track it, and i know they have the technology but they will not. They told me they don't have the technology to do such a thing, what a load of crap! I called att and they said the same thing. I recently discovered that whoever stole the phone can take the sim card out and put a new one in and att will activate it just like a regular customer even though it will show up on their computer as stolen! see all iPhones have a imie # or something like that and when they activate the stolen phone it will show that # linked to 2 separate accounts and yet att does nothing about it. I think its their obligation to atleast call you at let you know who activated your phone. I know im not the only person who has had a phone stolen and has this problem. I AM going to start a class action lawsuit and need all the people i can to see this through, please reply asap and lets get this started. I know its a hassle now but it will be worth it in the end. They have no right to not use the technology they have to help us find our phones!
