I honestly wouldn't worry about it. Until it happens to someone I know or I hear about it on eiC I'm not believing it.

I am thinking of downgrading from iOS5 but have a couple of questions first - hope its ok to use this thread.

1. Will I need to uninstall current iOS5 iTunes and install regular iTunes first?
2. Can I backup iPad 2 and iPhone 4 from iOS5 and install latest public release of iOS - then restore from backup?
3. Can latest iOS be jailbroken on both iPad 2 and iPhone 4.
4. If not, can I put iPad2 and iPhone4 back to last jailbreakable version - and what is it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you will need to uninstall beta iTunes and delete the iTunes file from "music" on the computer (otherwise you'll get an error code on iTunes upon installing)
I don't' know if you can backup on iOS5 and go back to 4.3.5...
The 4.3.5 can only be jailbroken tethered at the moment, And it is very difficult I think (I think I read it was difficult?)
The last (best) Jailbreakable Firmware was 4.3.3. And yes you could downgrade them to 4.3.3 as long as you have your SHSH saved via Cydia.

If you need any help downgrading let me know. I got it working (Y)

Hmm I did not backup my SHSH :-( so as I understand there is no way to get the install signed by Apple. Guess I will stick with iOS5 and begin the Beta 5 jump process..

Hey Guys!

Just wondering what I am doing wrong here!

I am trying to downgrade from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3..

I have TU installed and my 4.3.3 SHSH has been saved through Cydia. I have the TSS server running and I am using Cydia's Servers for the restore. I am doing a shift restore using iTunes and running TU in the background.

What is going wrong? I have had error codes (20,1)

Thanks
