Help needed! retrieving photo's

i've just upgraded to a 4s.

on my 3gs i have multiple folders of photo's and i can't get them from one iPhone to the other or from the 3gs to my laptop.

only folders i can seem to import/export are the camera roll.

now i know these photo's are not true resolution of the originals but the originals have long since gone (had laptop stolen) and these are the only copies of these pictures we have. some baby pics and wedding photo's

is there a working solution to either transfer these "other" photo folders to a windows pc or to the new iPhone from the old iPhone

thanks in advance for any solution even if its one file at a time. theres nearly a thousand pics that are dear to us

Didn't you have your 3GS synced with your laptop or PC?

yeah before it was stolen, haven't synced it for around 4 months,

its since been sync to the new laptop but the only things that get backed up are the old 3gs camera roll. and not the photo's backed up from the 3g before that or baby and wedding pics that were imported to the 3gs

If they were imported to the 3GS then they came from a folder in your pictures on the computer. Find that folder and they should be there.

they don't sync because they came from another computer (the one stolen)

i need to find a way to pull them from the old 3gs

What about an app like Bump or wifi transfer?
It may take some time, but you could try emailing them to yourself as well.

I don't know if a program like iFunbox, which is a file browser program would work on those folders or not, but you could give
that a shot too.
