okay well i just uploaded the the new loring pink theme on my girlfriend's iPhone. this is the first time i've ever put a different display list. well i use manazana and i dropped the new display list in it's correct folder. i uploaded all the icons and restarted her phone. everything worked like a charm. but at the bottome (dock area) there's a new icon titled DemoApp. i have no idea what this is or how to take it off the dock. when i press it, the screen just turns blank. please if anyone can give me any info on how to fix it that would be greatly appreciated. thanks a ton.

Same problem here! I just installed the gunmetal icons. I tried editing out the demoapp from the DisplayOrder.plist file but the DemoApp icon still comes up.

P,

I don't know if this is the fix but after playing around a little, I got rid of the icon. In my gunmetal icon dir there is a dir called DemoApp. In there is a couple icons and one is just a black rectangle. I renamed the file to icon.png and moved it to the DemoApp dir, rebooted and the icon is gone. The drawback is everytime I touch that black box, it tries to start the demo app.

I just downloaded the file to see what the problem was, you should'nt have install Demo.App. If you can try and find the original Demo.app folder and replace it with the one you just intalled. if that dosent work try playing around with DisplayOrder.plst.
Thats all the advice I can offer!

To actually get rid of the DemoApp. I believe you just have to edit the DisplayOrder.plist. You have to put the code for the DemoApp in the "special" section at the bottom. I put it between the code for "Springboard" and "MALogger". I hope this made sense.

Well on ModMyiPhone Im sure you can find the original Displayorder.plist. If you replace that one with the one you currentily have placed in your iPhone Im sure the problem will be fixed. Also try using Manzana, its much better than iPhone Interface, Its File Based so you can see the files as apposed to reading white text on a black background.

I am using manzana. I'll try to put in the origin display order. I just thought that I had to use the one that came with the theme because the icons are all jumbled up. Well I go try to put the original one back in and lost up the results. Thank you again guys for all the help
