Help with IPSW

I got registered today and am trying to follow directions as best as I can. I downloaded IMZDL.COM and downloaded the restore IPSW for iPad 2 iOS 5 beta 7 and it's a torrent but it is grayed out and I cannot select it in iTunes to restore to. I have a Mac and need a clue as to how to unzip it or whatever I need to do at this point.

If it's a .torrent file, it's not actually the ipsw. You need to download a torrent client (like utorrent or something similar), and open the torrent file with it. Then the client will download the actual ipsw.

An easy way to figure out what you have it to look at the size of the file. Torrents will be very small - only a few KB, I think. Ipsws are hundreds of MBs.
