Help with Safari

I know this dose not have anything 2 do with the iPhone, but maybe someone here can help me. I was trying 2 install the safari beta 3, and for some reason, I don't have the safari program in the comp anymore and Ive try reinstalling it but the "INSTALLER" wont start. After i click on the program for it 2 star installing, the INSTALLER icon comes up for just a second and then it desappears...now i don't have any safari at all:mad:...help. thanks

I actually just downloaded it and am using it now. I clicked on it, and it auto started downloading, try finding a desktop icon, click on it. Otherwise idk, try gogin to Apple and trying again.

hey guys....iam new on here

but Iam having a lil problem with safari 3 also...I have a Macbook and it works great on it...Its just that it doesn't work on my dad's Vista....after i've installed it and tried to run it...NO TEXT will show up...for example "system preferences, help, window" and all that crap..also if i try to type in URL no text will show up again...it wont let me type it...anyone has the same problem...and my dad LOVES PCs and while he was at work today, i've installed safari on his computer that way i can make him lil jealous when he feels that SPEED of SAFARI :)

lol, yes. Way to Go, Vista! and please do remember that this is a BETA software. Do Not expect it to work right; that's what a beta is.. If a feature doesn't work, or a bug crashes the app, you can send a bug report to Apple (although if you cant see your menubar conents then maybe not...)

For a beta release of a major software title update, and then piled on to that is the fact that this is a cross-platform attempt, I think it is doing a great job. IMHO, one should expect a number of crashes for all sorts of reasons until the bugs have been worked out and the BETA title is removed.

safari worked like a charm on my pc but it's god awful slow on my laptop. i wonder why.

Safari works perfectly on my Vista Business tablet, my Vista Ultimate laptop and my work XP Pro desktop.

i'm really liking Safari... as of now, it's my go to browser.

however, it seems to be struggling when i load my iGoogle page. I hope this doesn't continue to be a problem.

Of all of the sites on the internet, iGoogle will probably be one of the first fixed in Safari if it has a problem. :)

i couldnt find this posted else where and i need help
when i try to connect to my internet it says Safari cant open the page because it could not connect to the server
please help me

that means your not connected to the internet is your wifi on? have u used wifi yet if u have u have to go to wifi and click on the coneciton and click FORGET NETwork then turn off wifi thats if uve used wifi befor if not try reseting your phone i don't knwo anything else

well what would happen if I clicked on forget network what would happen?

it will totaly turn off your wifi so Edge starts working because when your on wifi and uve connected to the network and u never clicked forget its gona think your on wifi but the network is on hold its on standby but evne thoguh your trying 2 aces edge so u gota forget the network then turn off wifi and it will auto connect to edge

Well that last post was with edge but i was wondering how i could make my wifi to work with my iPhone :laugh2:
