Hotmail issues

After last night hotmail server issues I can't get any new emails, after couple hrs I just went and deleted whole account, and now I can't get any emails to my email box, it's says, connection to the server failed

Having the same issue. Cannot connect to server. IPad is OK.

I stopped using hotmail a while back.
I use gmx never had a problem.
Only thing is at first you need to configure it unlike hotmail that is detectable right away but I could help if anyone changes

Thanks for response. Talked to an Apple rep who wasn't much help. Then, I logged into Hotmail on my PC and set up a forward of emails to my Gmail account. I have emails on my PC, IPad in Hotmail and Gmail for my iPhone5.

Then, mysteriously this evening, emails are showing up in the iPhone5 in Hotmail. Go figure?

I told you guys they still have issues hotmail is not 100% up, I still sometimes can't get my new emails, I have friend who is working Is Microsoft, one of the main servers went completely down...they working 24/7 to restore everything...
