How can I attach photos to email?

This is sort of being discussed in a different thread.

My phone won't attach photos. I can embed them in email just fine, but they are not attachments andf thereforee not recognized as attachments in Outlook. With my old 3GS, it was never an issue. They attached flawlessly. That was also on the old 4.0.1.

What am I missing? I'm sure its something i'm not doing. Apple wouldn't get rid of it, that would be plain silly...

If the photo is saved in a photo album or camera roll it will attach as a JPEG in an email. If you simply copy the photo from a different source and paste into an email it will only embed.

Problem was not sending the actual picture, it was the recipient couldn't do anything with the picture as it was not an attachment. Email did not show up with jpeg so there was nothing that could be done.

Phone was replaced by Apple today. But, now I've got more problems.
