How do I clear the Google search history on the iPhone? I found some basic steps, but it didn't clear what I want it to be cleared. It cleared the URL (i.e. The https, or the http follow by a www links). When someone types something in Google, it will show a pop down list of the searches that you did a search for. How do I clear it?

Have you tried clearing the cache and cookies. I didn't do it because I like having the history.

Is that google app a web browser, or a search engine? I like the google app? It's pretty cool. How do I use it as a web browser? I still can use it.
Once u search on the app it works as a web browser. You can't enter in an address anywhere but for a search engine part it works great.

In Safari, hit the little book on the bottom right, go to History, and hit clear ont he bottom left.

Google+ and the Google app are not the same thing. In the Google app, pull down and the little wheel thingie will show up in the top right. Click on it, go to Privacy, and Clear History.

Clearing the history in safari like u suggested above does not clear the search history in the google part of safari. It just clears address's in the address bar.

Oh wait, then try this. Go to the Google bar and just type in a space, hit enter, it will take you to Google. Click on Settings at the bottom, and go "clear saved searches".

Thank you everyone. A few more Google questions.

1.) Does GMail have it's own google app, or just the default app that comes default on the iPhone?

2.) What are some other highly recommended free Google apps?

It does work. Thank you. I'll wait for my last reply to be answered.
