How do i transfer movies or series to iPod

Hi gorgeous people, i'm experiencing some difficulty transfering my movies from my laptop(HP) to my ipod touch. I have lots of movies and series that i really want to send to my ipod but even when i try to send them to iTunes they seem to not work. Also how do i send movies from dvd to ipod. I have the latest iTunes. HELPPP!.

They need to be encoded into an iPod-compatible format first. You can do this with Handbrake. If the video is on a DVD, you'll need to rip it before encoding it. Handbrake can do this as well, but DVD Decrypter or Makemkv will rip it a little faster.
