How to recharge your iPhone? through USB cable with the PC or power socket?

Both, but it is faster through the power socket. The apple-provided adapter can be used with either 110 or 220 V, but you may have to use one of those weird plugs if you travel to a foreign (non-US) country. For now.

I actually stick mine in the microwave for 25 seconds on high. The electrons rearrange and the phone is fully charged from dead in under a minute! Try that! It's wayyyy faster than leaving it in the wall for 5 hours! And it works like a charm!

At work I have a charger from the models of iPod when it was included, so it is the plug in part with a firewire cable. I leave that at work all the time. At home I plug it in to the computers USB port and leave it plugged in overnight. I have not seen a difference in speed of charging depending on the source, but I honestly do not watch it closely.

I think I overcharged it or something. All these sparks and stuff started flying off of it. What setting do you guys put the microwave on? I had mine on high for 30 seconds and it didn't charge it much.

Microwaves are so lame. I live in Colorado. I put it on my roof next to the lightning rod. Each lightning strike gives me a charge that lasts at least 10 days.

I wonder what I'll do in winter.

30 seconds on high should work just fine. I do 25 seconds on high and it works great. It helps to wrap it in tin foil. it keeps the electrons from escaping out the sides. So 25 on high but make sure you wrap it in tin foil first. so far, this is the best way I have charged my iPhone.

i have 37 hours usage and 12 days standby so far from the first microwave charge. anyone done it this way yet? its brilliant!

Hold it upside down in your right hand and shake it for 36 seconds - that will give you five more minutes of a charge, if you don't drop it in the process.
