When you reply hit the open advanced options button at the bottom of the screen and then choose from the options below. This option is from the app.
You need to use the app. When you have the keyboard showing, there is a bar just above it saying Open advanced Options. tap on that bar and you'll see the option to open the camera or the camera roll.
