How to Check Your iPhone 4S Tracking Info! (ordered from Apple.com)

I understand many of you are having trouble checking the tracking info for your iPhone 4S, so I'll tell you the steps I took to get through. I wasn't able to get any tracking info, but at least UPS recognized my reference number and allowed me to set up e-mail and SMS notifications.

1. Go to store.apple.com, click account in right hand corner, click "Track an Order".
1b. Log in (if you need to).
2. Copy your order number, which is on the left column of the page.
3. Go here, and click the "Track by Reference" dropdown.
4. Choose "Mail Innovations" under "Shipment Type".
5. Paste your order number in the "Shipment Reference" box, and remove the last two numbers.
6. Type in your full zip code (ex. 12345-6789).
7. Click "Track".
8. Anxiously wait at your computer, continuously hitting refresh until you see an update. (optional)

"Not all tracking information is available at this time. Please try again later. Your search found 1 package matching your package reference criteria."

Sadface. Hopefully it updates soon.

or just check the email they sent you with the tracking. My wifes is in KY now and we live in NC...

"Not all tracking information is available at this time. Please try again later. Your search found 1 package matching your package reference criteria."

I got the same message too. I just posted this thread because its better than nothing and I believe this is where they will put the shipping information when it's updated.

I've noticed 16GB versions are most often what have been reported as shipped.

I bought Apple care+ as well, which has a status of "Complete."

Got my tracking # but the method explained turned up as couldn't find my package. Is it because my tracking says ready for UPS?

I just attempted to use my 10 digit phone number (1234567890) with 'package' tracking by reference. It finally showed up. It just shipped today, Oct 12. I'm guessing because I'm on West coast it simply waited longer. The method with 'mail innovations' still didn't turn anything up. Hope everyone else's turned up too.
