Okay, I have been saving up for an Apple iPhone ever since Apple announced it. Where I currently live (Westchester, NY) there is an Apple Retail store, and a AT&T store in walking distance from me. Where should I go? What time should I arrive? Should I bring a tent to wait for June 30? HELP!

Right now no one knows. Some say AT&T some say Apple. The release is the 29th not the 30th. Camping is optional. I know some will while others will just walk in.

Who really "needs" an iPhone?

It's an entertainment device first, phone second. By rights, a luxury purchase. Most everyone already has a cell phone and if not can get one for free from nearly any carrier.

So what's the difference if one has two wait a few days one way or the other? Besides, by all early indicators, one may be ordered online if you do not have either an AT&T store or Apple store in your area.

Well before you waste your time, make sure the At&t store is a corporate store. You might want to call and verify this.

I am thinking go to the Apple store. I am hoping they will have more than my local At&T store. Either way, I will be up early waiting in line
