Roms go in var/root/Media/ROMs/NES. They must have the extension .nes. Did iBrickr not do it for you?where do you install the roms to? just in the nes.app folder? i installed a rom but its not showing up....
I made these steps using version 1.0.2.ver 1.02 dd nothing to change these steps right?
I have nes roms already on my laptop, so can I use those roms or do I have to search for new nes roms?3. To add a ROM (game), just click the newly appeared link "Upload NES ROM". (If you need to find ROMs, go here. Maybe you could type something like, oh I don't know, "nes roms".)
You can use the ones from your laptop as long as they have the extension .nesI have nes roms already on my laptop, so can I use those roms or do I have to search for new nes roms?
Why do you keep referring to Installer as AppTap? The About screen refers to it as Installer, the text in springboard refers to it as Installer, the folder name is Installer...Okay, I'm searching on how to load ROMs onto the iPhone. I did not use iBrickr, but AppTap to install Installer. I then used Installer to install NES 0.99.04.
Would somebody be so kind as to tell me how to load the ROMs? I'm using a MacBook Pro, so iBrickr is out, right?
Thanks, Mike,Why do you keep referring to Installer as AppTap? The About screen refers to it as Installer, the text in springboard refers to it as Installer, the folder name is Installer...
Anyhoo, you can try Breezy instead of iBrickr:

Good luck with Breezy, please report back on if it worked OK.Thanks, Mike,
I'll check out Breezy. I call it AppTap as that is what nullriver is calling the GUI app that installs Installer on the iPhone: http://iPhone.nullriver.com/beta/
They appear to be pushing AppTap. It works well. Installed Breezy after only one hiccup. Will be looking for some ROMs to test it out.Good luck with Breezy, please report back on if it worked OK.
BTW: For some reason I thought you were referring to Installer as AppTap--sorry. Apparently AppTap is the Mac jailbreaker and installer for Installer. It's interesting that Nullriver has apparently pulled the Installer-only download from the \beta site too (not that you still can't get it inside the Mac archive).

Hmmm, well installed Breezy and was able to install NES. Actually already had NES on my iPhone thanks to Installer. But, it didn't show up in Breezy as an installed package. So, unInstalled and re-Installed via Breezy.Good luck with Breezy, please report back on if it worked OK.
