How to view my iPod video movies on my iPhone?

I've tried to play some videos (that I used to watch on my iPod) on my iPhone but the picture size being different, it shows a green strip on the side of the screen.

I am sure there is a way to convert my movie from iPod format to iPhone format.

Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.

iPhone and ipod are the same video format, try downloading it again.

I converted these movies with a DVD converter. The screen size is not the same between iPod and iPhone, that's my problem.
