I was really confused but now I figured it out so I thought I'd share.
(And for those who don't own the Rivet headphones and are curious about them, here's a link to them on Amazon.)

1. Hold both ear buds to either the right or left side of your face.
2. Put one ear bud in the nearest ear and take the other one and stretch it behind your neck and put it in the other ear. To make it reach, you will need to pull the cord and extend it a little bit. This should also pull the mic up closer to your face.
3. Once you extend it, you will notice that the wires hanging across your chest are now uneven and one has a lot more slack. Take this extra slack and pull it around the back of your neck. You now should have two wires running along the back of your neck.
4. Pull on all the wires until they are all evenly hanging.

If you've done this right, the mic will be pulled up closer to your face. You can pull on the wires hanging on your chest and you will feel tension around your neck and not in the wires coming from the earbuds in your ears. You can also pull out the earbuds and they will fall out evenly on your shoulders instead of falling to the floor.

Here's a picture to help the confused:

If you look here, I think this gives an even better idea of how it works.

I hope you're enjoying the ear buds.

I posted about that everyone was wearing them the wrong way on a different thread last night. I tried to explain the right way. The picture is what comes with the headphones...that is a big help for explaining. The mike does not hang down too low when wore correctly.

Yes. Your post is the reason that I sought out those instructions.
No reason to go nuts though, but at least it got you to sign up and start mingling.:)
Thanks again.

Yup. You're right, that's better. Thanks.

As far as the earbuds, I really like them but the bass distorts sometimes...
They aren't the greatest sound-wise, but very acceptable for the price.
Once some of the other manufacturers start making completely iPhone compatible earbuds, then we can all take a look at ones with perhaps better sound quality.
But these more than serve the purpose of replacing the Apple earbuds.
Have a great weekend.
