Yesterday I thought I was smart enough to install third party software. I putted the Installer, few games. I performed a few jaibreaks without knowing what I was doing (I thought it was simple resets). The result was an error message when I connected my iPhone to iTunes. I tried to reset entirely. But my iPhone was not recognized anymore. With the help of a very patient friend on the web, I finally could activate my iPhone back, but iTunes give the same error message (it is not my iTunes, the same message on other macs), strangely the 3 third party programs are still there (Installer, Launcher, Lights Off, Finder) and I cannot take them off. This friend tried by different method to make me jailbreak (Terminal, Ifuntastic), but it seems that this is where the problem is. Any suggestions? Thanks by advance

While the iPhone is in the cradle hold down the sleep and menu buttons till the yellow triangle appears (be patient, it takes awhile andnthe iPhone will turn off first). iTunes will perform a restore and all should be fine.

Many Thanks! It worked. After a night spent on this problem...
By the way, what type of desactivation do you think I should use. I mean with this hope of a desimlock software solution later this day, I want to put all chances on my side. I wanted to keep the 1.0 firmware but with this problem I had to put the 1.0.2. Anyway, I imagine they intend the soft to work on that version.
I use a mac

Thanks again
