I don't want an iPhone

Well, not me of course, but this guy is already giving reasons why he will NOT buy an iPhone. Seems kind of silly for something that's not going to be on the market for at least another month. I mean, at least check out the store display before harping on why you don't want it. It would be funny, though, to see him eat his words.

One way to mitigate the cost of your iPhone is to plop a few bucks on Apple stock. I'd venture to guess if you put a couple grand on AAPL that before your contact with ATT runs out you'll have made back the entire cost of your iPhone.

Disclaimer: I already own AAPL stock.

RAWR! I hate when people use his reason, for number one that is. "I'm sick of all the hype". My lab partner in Physics always says that, I just say back: "You're right, Lance! Because when products are usually greatly anticipated and talked about, they usually are terrible products! *rolls eyes*" Haha, he is definitely an Apple hater.... >.<

So, if it was announced today, how has it arrived? It seems we have a genius on our hands, people.

On point 4, he says things along the lines of "I think" or "Probably" or "It is very likely that" several times, what a great way to prove your point!

Point 5 is kinda dumb too. I don't have an iPod. Nope, I don't. That is one of the reasons why the iPhone appealed to me, I don't need to get an iPod AND a new phone; I can get BOTH in ONE PRODUCT! I know people who ARE NOT gettting an iPhone because they are simply happy with their 30 gig iPod, and a slim cell phone.

I love how he complains about pricing and then says at the bottom he wants to get a phone he can't afford. Mmm... the hypocrisy. =]

Anyway, there are always going to be critics, but we all know that the iPhone is the best out there, bottom line. So, no matter what some estranged person thinks, the iPhone is going to be a hit. Besides, it's not like he KNOWS! It hasn't been released and he was already complaining about the touch screen keyboard, I really don't like most QWERTY Keyboards, so a touch-screen one will be nice. Anywho, thanks for the article, it made me laugh because he sounds like my lab partner. =]

Agreed. This was obviously a sad attempt at apple- hating. If you don't want the iPhone, there is no reason to warn the rest of the internet. I don't go on the internet to see people attempt bad points.
