Believe me or not, I am one of the few lucky one to have an unlocked iPhone.
I said believe me or NOT....

Blah!

I'll stick with my iPhone with AT&T. At least I know it's covered if I have a problem. Get an unlocked phone and you lose support for the iPhone as well as the carrier you go to.

In short, I really don't care about an unlocked phone.

I understand but what are the chances that you will have a problem with your iPhone. It's a 1 in 10000 cases...
For me traveling a lot overseas, it's a great way to be able to use the iPhone in any country, just buying a cheap SIM card when I get there.
I am still really pissed I am stuck with ATT for 2 years. I was with T Mobile which I think is the best (and cheapest) provider in the US

yeah that's good i guess if you trvl a lot out of the country...but those intl rates are expensive...that's why text msgn/email is essential...i can see if you're doin' major businesss deals, then unlckd is ideal...but where at this stage in my life the unlckd thing isn't that much of a priority...

its going to suck for all those unlocked iPhones to have a voided warranty and also when they need a new battery u can't send it back yo Apple and get the loaner phone. So that's a do it yourself project. The tagline for the unlocked iPhone .... Void your warranty and do it yourself project. wahoo headachs .... Is it really worth it to have no warranty no updates and do it yourself ... Not my idea of destorying the iPhone

I'm with you guys! And I wonder how all of these unlocked phone owners are going to feel when Apple introduces some major update/features and they can't have them? We'll see who has the last laugh :)

Havnt even considered going unlocked for this exact reason.
