when around my house, my phone switches all the time from 3g to edge to gprs. but even when it shows full bars of 3g or edge, i get speeds of around 50kbps, thats not a typo! since i have wifi, this isn't much of an issue. this is most likely a network issue since this is only around my side of town. at my job, i get consistent full 3g with speeds of around 600kbps, 200 with edge (i tested with 3g turned off)

Yeah - my iPhone is lying too! My carrier signal is full all the time...

Probably True cause When On Edge In the Elevator at work I get no bars, but on 3G I gte about 3 bars and the call still drops like if it was Edge.
