I have reset my phone by using both power button and home button, rebooted my computer, iTunes syncs my phone fine and as soon as i plug the usb in to the phone the battery starts charging as normal. When I execute ibrickr.exe the window pops up and it says please wait to recognize your phone and then nothing happens. If I am dong something wrong please let me know, also i am on version 1.0.2 if that helps.

Thanks in advance,
Jason

im currently at work....but this is what i can help you with for now....

open iTunes and connect your iPhone so it can see it's connected. then hit the "Restore" tab on iTunes....while the firmware is downloading, unplug your iPhone... when it's completed downloading it will tell you that the iPhone is not connected...hit "ok" on that popup.
open the "iBrickr.exe" and connect your iPhone and hit the "free my iPhone" tab so it can start loading the software into your phone. follow the next steps in iBrickr....it should be a piece of cake after this....:laugh2:

iBricker rocks !:mad::laugh2::laugh2:

I couldn't get iTunes or iBrickr to recognize my phone. I searched and found a thread where these instructions were given:

Start -> Run -> Services.msc -> Apple Mobile Device Service. Click start.
Fire up iTunes.

That worked for me. :cool:

make sure you have the Applemobiledevice.dll file in the folder with ibrickr....thats what happened to me and it now works fine.
