If your ipod gets stolen...
Is there anyway to get them back in case your iPod gets stolen?

I was wondering in case if you loose a device that is worth $300 is their some way to trace them back?

I've heard that calling Apple and telling them that its stolen is useful in case someone else registers it. But, has it ever worked?

Feel free to discuss lost and found (
) iPods, or lost (
) ipods and ways we can help keep our investments secure in long term.

Are you looking for like a low jack solution for your iPod or something :laugh2:

Truth be told I doubt Apple is going to go through much to help you out or even want to get involved in this stuff! Imagine the can of worms this would open up... all of the people would be making false claims and people would have to be proving it is their ipod not someone else's... it would be strange!

But we find that service in our mobile phones(I'm not sure about all over the world) But in my country if you loose a mobile set you can get it blocked from the service provider by mentioning the IMEI number. If something like this can be done with iPods than it would certainly increase the customer loyalty towards Apple.
