Hmm, so if i'm not messing with that I should be fine then right? Anyone have the video for specifically mac users and hacking their phone, tutorial like the guy with PC's?

The best way to do this now is this:
Make sure iFuntastic is closed. Go to your HD>Applications>iFuntastic Support (folder) and open a text file called HomeScreenArrangement.txt.
You will now see a list like "com.apple...." . Type a new name after the "newName=" replacing the default name apps to your custom name. Make sure there is a space after the"=" sign.
When finished, save your changes.
Now open iFuntastic. Go to Home Screen. You should now see the updated app names, yes? Now click "Update iPhone". Your iPhone will prompt you to "slide to unlock". There you have it!
I'm a total n00b when it comes to mods, but I gave it a try last night. It was simple to do and now I'm having fun playing with the features. I can't quite get changing the logo name to a personal one, has anyone had any luck?
I was having this problem as well, but it turns out that iFuntastic was waiting to close iTunes (which was not opening when iPhone was connecting). Once I opened iTunes, iFuntastic closed it immediately and then went to working on my iPhone.
you have to make 2 .png files size 65x20 name the ie: xxx1.png and xxx2png put them in the same folder this should then work, both files will be carried over into ifuntastic3 when you select them.

If he had bricked his phone he would not have a phone, let alone EDGEMy friend was playing with this last night and managed to brick his phone. He did a restore and now he doesn't have Edge. I'm waiting for a bit before jumping on the iFuntastic bandwagon!
a .png is a gaphic format like .jpg .gif .tiff etc, make your image save as .png all or most icons on the phone are this format.

blank space holders on the screen and issue.
When I mod the screen...it looks great....I didn't put the page 1,2,3,4 buttons because I am not using these extra screens...but the problem I am seeing is that when you touch the empty space holder...the iPhone things its a program and trys to start something....
is there anyway to turn these blank spaceholders into blank area and not active ones?
Also I am having problem where ifuntastic will stop making changes on my iPhone. I made screen changes, added some ringtones and then I tried to set my att logo to iPhone and it wouldn't make the change on the phone. Even though it beeped/chimed that it did.
Any thoughts on these issues.

yes I have the same issuer with the active live spots. I don't know how to fix that, as far as the other issue. Thats happened to me a few times to. I just rebooted the iPhone and rebooted iFun. Usually that works. Its worked a bunch of times so try it out.
iFuntastic is for MACS, but use iBrikr. Thats for windows.. Everybody else is using it and loves it. Thats probably the best program out right now.
Best out for pc's your saying right? I have the option to use either or, is funtastic or ibrickr better ?

Kinda surprised no one has this answer. Seems like someone knows how to do this and should be able to give me the clue I need. I think kwan is asking the same thing.I'm being a complete idiot I'm sure. How do I install a native app? iFuntastic has a way to drag and drop an app into the iPhone but where do you get an app? Maybe someone can just give me a quick 1,2,3? Sorry for being so lame!
iFun is weird man. I got a program workin once using it but thats it. I cant get them any more.. Im trying to use AppTapp now, and im having issues with that as well.. All this stuff is very confusing.. I just wish Apple made there own software that allows us to mod our phone.. Going through all this nonsense is ridiculous.
