There's a solid answer. I think iFuntastic 3 is a great version that makes the process to hack certain aspects very easy, like adding ring tones, changing the carrier logo, adding icons and pages, changing backgrounds, and storing files. It's just the native application part I just don't get. Maybe it'll be more clear in an upcoming release.

I said he bricked it in that it went belly up while goofing around with iFuntastic. He then performed a restore, but was unable to get Edge back. Please read.
It doesn't appear that you can use iFuntastic without wiping the phone first. I didn't see any options for getting around it. I've been using installer.app and don't want to have to re-do all i've done with that. Also, I'd have to re-sync all my info back onto the iPhone. If there is a way to use this without wiping the phone first would someone please give us a step by step? Basically, I don't want to lose the current state of the phone, I want it to stay as is and be able to use iFuntastic too!Dammit, I want to run this program but have so much on my phone, I would hate to lose it all
Is it absolutely necessary to fully restore? In a video i saw he said disconnect the phone before it fully downloads the restore firmware?

I hate this program... It changes names of my icons and they look stupid...ugh I had to restore...
i don't get how this app works, as far as i know i installed the app and connect it my iohone to it, is there anything else i need to do, can some one please help me what to do. please!

Yes im using ibrikr and i love it but the only problem with ibrikr is that i can't nah set up multiple homescreen and i can't change carrier logo home icons etc. so thats the reason why i would like something like ifuntastic. but is they another easy way to set up this? i mean multiple homescreen, icon change and carrier?
I would like to know the answer to this also. I used it last night and it rocked for ringtones, carrier logo and changing some files (i.e. chat balloon, battery image) but hated the "blank" space being like "click-able" so restored my phone and not gonna do this again till I can figure out how to leave the home screen alone (other then maybe changing the icons)
Installed then deleted. It slowed my phone, and as posted above, there are just too many quirks. With the introduction of iToner, my main reason for downloading iFuntastic went away.

Ya I know. . this annoys me too. I want a fix as well... howabout this..now that I have a light background color when I click on an icon, a box around the icon is clicked as well...In other words, the actual icon is smaller than the active clickable area, and you see the rest of the box get darker from the click....is this happening to anyone else? You wouldn't see this with a dark background especially the stock one so I don't know if this is new since the mod or if it was always like this but just not noticeable.

There have been numerous amount of native apps released recently that basically eliminates the need for this glitchy version. It looked promising at first but armed with the Installer app along with the ever-increasing community resources and frequent updates, modding is becoming more fun, instantaneous and habit-forming
