I'm having a nightmare on Safari: please help

I cant seem to navigate through three pages before safari throws me back out to the home screen. I click safari again and it brings me back but then happens again like a minute later.

I first
noticed
the problem while surfing and listening to iPod, so I stopped doing that but safari is still throwing me back out

And this
also happens to me on google maps. I'll be searching for Chinese and all the sudden get thrown out to the home screen and when I go back, its on an old search and I gotta start over.

This is on my wifi. Can anyone please help?

I believe it is a random bug. Im sure the first UPDATE will take care of it.

re you sure its just a rondom bug?

This happens to me on all my apps, although most win safari and a little too much to be considered random.
is this happening to everyone?

Have you restarted the phone (Hold down the sleep button till the turn off slider appears)? The iPhone doesn't close apps so after a time the cache gets full and needs a reboot. Try that and see if it helps.

I'll give it a shot. I'd be surprised if that was it considering the phone has been active only about 10 hrs
