As fas as I know, Apple has not officially announced what will be included with the iPhone. I thought I read somewhere that the iPhone would come with a dock, but I can't find anything to verify that now. Maybe another forum member will know more.

I saw somewhere a picture of someone opening an iPhone box. It could have been a hoax though? or a tester maybe? I wish I was a tester.

if he left that one picture out I bet most would think it was the real thing.

Honestly, it's a freakishly clever way to make some extra $$ off of Google adwords. ...Okay, maybe it's a little "dishonestly" making money but still freakishly clever!

on the Apple website (and in the keynote) it says something about including headphones (like the current ipod headphones) that also have a mic that you can squeeze to answer and end calls in the box and bluetooth headsets will be separate. i haven't heard anything else though.
does the iPhone have separate ring tones for different callers so that you can tell who is calling through the headphones? can you use all of your iTunes songs as ringtones? i forget if any of this was mentioned in the keynote.

I will be interesting to see if these are in a sealed box, or like other phones sold by AT&T in "open" boxes.

Every time I go into the Cingular / AT&T store (which is quite frequently) I go in the middle of the morning during a week day when they are not busy. That way I can get them to bring out four or five boxes of the same model, so I can pick the "best one" (I'm particular, and admittedly a phone addict...:)) and every time all the boxes are open and the reason given is that they must check the numbers to insure they match what's on the box. In addition they insert the sim card and this speeds up the process.

If I choose to order it via the web, or by placing it over the phone through the equipment sales department, it arrives open.

Time will tell.

If its a Apple product, it will come in a nice box with many folding pieces.
My mom got me one while I was away in the Army, and she gave it to my friend to set up and put music on it.
He said it took him 5 minutes just to find the iPod itself.. lol

My guess is it will be a white cube with iPhone on two opposite sides, AT&T on the other two opposite sides, an Apple on the top, and copywrite info on the bottom.

Pretty much what I thought too. Im sure it will open like pac man and have 2 separate containers sides. Manuals on top and iPhone burried deep inside the box.

Yes I agree, Apple is the master (at least in the tech sector) at packaging their products in a very elegant way. After all the new Apple products I've owned, I still get excited when opening something new from Apple.....:laugh2:
