Incorrect Voicemail Password Constantly Popping up?

Ever since I updated my phone I have had this problem. Im pretty sure the reason is because my Visual Voicemail was reset along with the system restore. I set up my voicemail however when I am using various apps or at the homescreen I get a box to enter the Voicemail Password.
Any Ideas?

did you ever set up your vmail before you had visual vmail?

Cingular/ATT has the ability to check your vmail from another phone or landline after you set up a digital pw to access it.

I believe you must actually dial your vmail from your cell phone to set it up.

Im sure you know how to dial your vmail, so try that out and go through the prompts.

Let me know what happens.

I guess it was because I was previously a customer. I turned it off and hopefully I won't see that come up anymore.

I had that problem too along with email password resets. I tried plugging in a known password, but the pop up just kept coming up. I then remembered that I had a differenet password for it. I plugged that in once and was done..... I also had a couple voicemails waiting.

Try different passwords that you know of. It may be the right one. I'd say if you still can't guess it, just call up ATT and see fi they can reset it or something.:)

Yeah I thought it was fixed but its not. Ill go and start guessing.

Yeah it won't tell you if you entered itin incorrectly. It will just go away then come back later on. GL

A way to know if you have the right pw instantly would be to call your phone from another line and press *.

From there enter the code you think it might be and hit #.

I'm running into a similar problem thinking it might be connected. I have tried adding 2 new email accounts and they both keep telling me incorrect password when I know it's not my wrong doing. Is there a solution?
