I just did an OTA install of iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 and had no problems with it. It took about 20 minutes or so to complete. I did find out when I went to update my iPad that the iPad3 isn't supported by iOS 10. Major bummer!!
It's listed as compatible. Try it again.I just did an OTA install of iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 and had no problems with it. It took about 20 minutes or so to complete. I did find out when I went to update my iPad that the iPad3 isn't supported by iOS 10. Major bummer!!
Why not just update in iTunes on your computer? I wouldn't want to install such a huge update OTA.My iPhone 6s+ on iOS 9.3.5 continues to tell me that iOS is up-to-date. Any way to force an OTA update?
Try rebooting.I'm out of town and don't have my computer with me :-(. I do have decent wifi where I am.
Yeah, it looks like the list I posted earlier was inaccurate. Apple doesn't support it according to their website. Time for an iPad Pro?I found this on Apple's website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/km206870. It doesn't list the iPad 3 as being a device that is compatible with iOS10 so I guess I'm out of luck updating my iPad. Oh well.
I'd love to get a new iPad but I'm also looking at a new iPhone 7 so I won't be doing both as I don't think the much better half would go along with too many new toys at once.Yeah, it looks like the list I posted earlier was inaccurate.
