Am still unclear with the explaination. Can you please emphasiZe more ?Thanks Napoleon.
Hi rugved1118, Cydia Impactor relies on an Apple ID (non developer) to sign your IPA files (like Yalu) so that they can be executed on your iPhone. I had read that then non-developer certificates have a 7 day signing timeout, meaning that after 7 days, you can no longer sign and load IPA files onto your iPhone. Hence, after the 7 day period, you cannot reboot a semi-tethered jailbroken device and still use your Cydia tweaks (your phone will no longer be jailbroken at that point). If you reboot, you need to reload the Yalu IPA file, which requires the Apple ID for signing (or the Yalu app won't work).
MAYBE- I could buy a developer ID. Then, if I understand properly, I could sign apps for as long as I want.
Could anyone confirm that one for me? Thanks!
Sorry I haven't been more helpful. I had a serious problem a while back with the jailbreak and decided to update to 10.2.1. Sure miss my five-column springboard and dock, and my ability to get rid of the app animations. An update: the new version of Activator no longer crashes into safe mode on my IP6S on 10.0.1. Nice.
I'm not very hopeful at all for a 10.2.1 jailbreak.Don't be sorry! I really feel for you...
I hope there is another JB soon so you can configure your phone as you wish.
I hope you don't mind me asking- was there a tweak and/or series of actions which go the JB unstable? What were the symptoms?
Again- I'm really sorry, and hope we get another JB soon!
