IOS 11.2.6 Battery Icon

Has anyone had the battery indicator 'disappear' after installing of iOS 11.2.6? This is something I read about in a Forbes article - "iOS 11.2.6 has a nasty surprise" . I'm holding off on doing the update until I hear more about this, currently using iOS 11.2.5....

Thank you - I do find Forbes to be usually very negatively slanted but every once in a while they're on to something - I'll give the rumor mill another day to percolate then do the update...

Just updated to 11.2.6 on my 7plus and the battery indicator is still there for me.

No problems here either. I updated the day it was released.

Thanks kindly - with 11.3 in theory around the corner (?) I will probably just hold back anyway and not tempt fate unnecessarily. The iMessage and Indian character bug isn't likely ( famous last words ) to affect us here in the Caribbean and any other issues are not in featured we use to begin with... I appreciate the comments though!!
