You're not wanting to update your Mac?After all that work, Pangu says I can't use it on my Mac OS 10.6.8. I need OS 10.7 or later. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday and run it on my Mac at work. Ugh.
Good instructions, though: http://www.idownloadblog.com/2014/06/29/how-to-jailbreak-ios-7-1-x-untethered-with-pangu-on-mac-os-x-video/
I can't. It's too old. I hardly use it anyway. I'm not in the market to buy a new one. You're not wanting to update your Mac?
I forgot I have BootCamp installed on my MacBook. Running JB from Windows now. You're not wanting to update your Mac?
I never had a box to check. It didn't install Cydia first time. I'll try again. But there also wasn't a box to uncheck.
I'm sure some things I had I haven't thought of yet. Some things I have before and now haven't been updated. I forgot the repos I had..Now I await the update to infinidock & gridlock. 2 biggies I'm missing.
I just used the standard ones, other than the beta site for bitesms.I'm sure some things I had I haven't thought of yet. Some things I have before and now haven't been updated. I forgot the repos I had..Any suggestions?
I see. I had a few repos that were good. Now without those I just see a bunch of random old themes in Cydia.I just used the standard ones, other than the beta site for bitesms.

Thats because you used the English version of Pangu...that option has been removed...I never had a box to check.
I use it but it auto backed up when I went to it. But anyways it's risky to use a backup of it after re-jailbreaking.Thats because you used the English version of Pangu...that option has been removed...
Does no one use PKGbackup anymore..? still find it the easiest method around.
Lost my love for PKGBackup around iOS 5. I kept having issues, and after some back and forth w/the Dev, I just lost confidence.Does no one use PKGbackup anymore..?

There is an option to not restore apps or tweaks that's not compatible with iOS 7.1 jailbreak? That's what I am referring to. I don't think it has that option. It doesn't know what works it doesn't lol.It may auto backup...but it doesn't stop you selecting a previous backup...if worried about installing older backup that may not be compatible with present firmware, PKGbackup has the option to check(and not install) compatibility.
Like any tool, you need to know how to use it to get the best out of it.
