We know the iOS update is coming tomorrow, but what time can we expect it? What time have they been released in the past, anyone remember?

Not sure why, but I think they've done this early in the past. I'm preparing for tomorrow morning, east coast time.
I hope it's at 12:01 tonight.
If so, I'll wake up extra early and download it before I go to school. Anyone think it will be out before 7:00central time?

Lol we have school wide wifi, as we have netbooks we carry around for heavy school use, but I don't think they'd allow me to carry around my phone to upgrade.
Anyone know how long the upgrade will take and how big it is?
Even though I have never had any issues in regards to updating iOS on the release date, I will wait until Thursday this time. I will update my son's iP4S while he's at school and then my wife's iPod when she gets home from work that evening.

I'm wondering if I can simply download it via WIFI, i.e. even if my iPhone doesn't have a carriers SIM in it.

This is my first iPhone and this is probably a dumb question. Do you need to have your computer to update the iOS or wifi/network?

Wait...how does this make sense? Philadelphia and New York has the same time zone so why is it coming out at different times? -___-
