iPad 1 and iOS 5.0?

Is iOS 5.0 really worth updating to an iPad 1? I did the deed, but don't see much of an improvement. Maybe I just need to learn how to use all the features. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. I don't plant to jailbreak my iPad again.

I'm waiting for the untethered JB to update my iPhone to 5.0. I might just do the semi-tether until than.

It works fine on iPad 1. You get iMessage, which is a plus. And, if you go to 5.0.1 you can enable Multitasking Gestures, which is great on the iPad.

You also get much better notifications with Notification Center, WiFi sync, over-the-air firmware updates, big improvements to Mail, Calendar, and Safari apps and lots more. iOS 5 is a major update and a very worthwhile one for the original iPad.
