iPhone 3GS keyboard problem

hello,

the lower-part of my iPhone 3gs keyboard seems not to work anymore, while not using the keyboard the lower-part of the screen does work. is there anything i can do to fix this? because i can't text anyone and i can't even search on internet!

please help me.

Sounds to me like you need a new digitizer! Did you drop your phone? Did it get wet?

no i didn't drop him and it didn't get wet... only the lower-part of the keyboard doesn't work, the upper part still works.

yes i have tried that, nothing happened

Happened to my wife's 3G. The wiring came loose to the bottom part of digitizer (I guess it attached in sections). Apple tech opened it up and pushed it back and worked fine for awhile but ended up replacing the phone.
