iPhone 4S text signatures

Is it possible to put a signature on text messages on the iPhone 4S?

I don't think so. I am sure there are third party apps that allow you to. I'm sure if you jailbreak you are able to. You can change or add the signature in the email.

I hate text signatures. Just my opinion.

If you really want a sig, you could create a keyboard shortcut. Just remember that a sig uses part of the 160 character limit per SMS.
