iPhone 4S Texting Volume?

Hello!

First post here, and a brand new iPhone owner! I absolutely love my phone so far, the only issue I have come across so far is that it seems as though I am unable to change the volume of incoming text messages? Evidently the volume button is only adjusting the incoming ring tone volume.

Is there an easy way to adjust incoming text volume? or to make the phone volume settings control ALL volumes (text/phone/email etc)

p.s. I tried searching the first 6 pages without any luck on this issue, no luck.

Sorry you only have 1 master volume control.

You could try creating a louder custom tone. I did that with my old Palm Pre, because the text tones were so quiet that I'd often miss hearing them.
