I'm sure pre-ordering will be possible. It was wildly successful last year and the year before and really helped cut down on some of the lines at stores.

I pre-ordered mine as well when the iPhone 4 came out. So mark me down as someone who is going to pre order.

I remember the first iPhone 4 got delivered a full two days early, with several others delivered a day before the official release date.

I woke up to pre-order my iPhone 4, but that's when they ninjaed the white iPhone and didn't make it available until a few months ago. I'm still upset about that.

I plan on adding a new, fifth line for my 9 year old son. Can I purchase an iPhone 5 through Apple's website tonight and would they assign a brand new fifth cell phone number ?
When I get the iPhone 5 I plan on swapping it with my sim card on my line and just purchase a basic phone for my son at Walmart.

Will this work?
