What cases are you guys planning on using? I want something that still shows the gold so I'm thinking a white bumper would look nice. I might just go caseless with this one.You almost jinxed me!

Got my 16GB space grey yesterday, slapped a black carbon fiber slickwrap to the back only, going caseless on office days and looking for a waterproof solution on my flying days. So far I'm most impressed with the finger print scanner! No more entering passwords for me!
I just have a bumper on my 5 now. I'm going do the same on my 5s until a manufacturer can figure out how to allow the use of the FP scanner while protecting it from water, dust, etc.
Not sure on the case. I really liked the incase I have for my 4s. It is a one piece design that is smoked so it is a little see through. the outside has a nice coating for added grip because without the case the phone was slippery as hell. I would like something similar but clear this time. I found a couple on amazon that are clear, but they appear to have a rubber insert around the edges. that would give added protection for the front and get me the grip and clear look I want. Plus they are not bulky.
That doesn't look like it would give any protection in a drop. I'm just gonna use a clear TPU bumper that has a nice lip.Switcheasy? Anybody has this one? Thoughts? Comments?

I'm not too worried about discoloration after time. It's priced very low and is just temporary until a manufacturer designs a full case that allows FP scanner usage and protection against the elements. As popular as the iP5s is, it shouldn't be too long but I'm not holding my breath.
I went to best buy... I got a space grey, but I really want a white/silver one. Best buy said there's no exchanging for colors. Is there a way to get around that? There return policy is 15days

Yes. Return it within 15 days. Then get the color you want. It may take a day or two for your upgrade to become available on your account, so that could be an issue. But it's doable.
I ordered a Golden Phone right at launch with my upgrade. Then I went to AT&T the next day and got a space grey on my daughters upgrade, but put it on my line, to use until my Golden phone arrives. I will return it on day 14 even if my golden phone hasn't arrived yet and revert to the 4S if needed for a couple days.

I was thinking that too. I have one on reserve at Target. I was thinking when they sent me my email saying it was at the store. I would return my Best Buy purchased one in favor of the color I really wanted. I do like the space grey, but I really wanted Silver.
Will Apple do a straight across exchange just for color preference?
