iPhone Applecare

Well since Apple is on a tear cutting prices... I just bought my Applecare for my iPhone when the Applecare product was released. That was based on a product that was selling for $600 that I was willing to pay for the coverage. Now I am a little pissed about the cost of this coverage considering the sudden price drop of this product. Apple should give us an extra year in that Applecare plan considering what they just charged us, and the now suddenly less expensive iPhone.

Anyone else upset and want Apple to extend the coverage?

A lot of my early-adopter friends are, and so am I.

Apple should offer a free year or two of Applecare for ANYONE who shelled out the big bucks as early-adopters.

Your logic only makes sense if they lowered the price of AppleCare too, but they didn't. AppleCare still gets you a three year warranty and three years of phone support.

Actually, that's incorrect....for the iPhone, it's only two years. Sorry.

Is there a special Applecare number for iPhone problems or is it the same number for Applecare for my imac?

I would think it is the same number. Once connected, you will probably have a menu to choose from to get the right area of help that you need.
